We have added a section on our website for online access to content available only to members, including the complete Membership Directory in searchable format, and back issues of the Water Law Newsletter, the Mineral Law Newsletter, and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Journal.   • Online Natural Resources Education. In December, we launched our new Online Natural Resources Legal Education program.  Members are entitled to a discounted rate to view and obtain CLE or CPE credit for watching online videos of many of our top-notch courses, with new programming added every few months.  Papers and PowerPoints included with most videos!

Organization Membership Categories

Sustaining Membership – $6,000

Sustaining memberships are for firms and companies that choose to support the Foundation at a higher level and enjoy the most membership benefits.  All company employees are included in the membership.  Additional benefits include: two complimentary registrations to the Annual Institute, recognition on our website and in Annual Institute materials, and up to 40 names in the Membership Directory.

Law Firm, Corporation, Government Agency, or Organization

Applies to designated individuals listed on your membership.

  • 1–3 designated individuals listed on your membership: $1,015
  • 4–9 designated individuals listed on your membership: $1,705
  • 10–15 designated individuals listed on your membership: $2,515
  • 16+ – All company employees are included, but only 25 names may be listed in the Membership Directory: $3,875

University (Faculty) – $410

Under this membership, all full-time faculty enjoy all of our member benefits. In addition, faculty and law school libraries may purchase Foundation publications at special educational prices.

 

Individual Membership Categories

Individual memberships are available to individual natural resources professionals and others in related fields. Law firms, companies, agencies, and other organizations are not eligible for individual memberships.

Individual – $500

Individual memberships include all the benefits of membership on an individual basis.

Individual Government/Nonprofit – $400

Employees of government agencies or non-profit (IRS tax-exempt) organizations pay a reduced membership rate.

New Professional – $100

This is a one-time individual membership for recent law school graduates, new landmen, and other new natural resources professionals. Join in the calendar year of graduation or first employment as a natural resources professional and your membership will continue through the end of the following calendar year. For example, join in May and your membership will extend through December of the following year.

Senior – $150

This substantially discounted rate is for individuals who are fully retired yet wish to participate in Foundation activities.

Student – $25

This membership is only for full-time students (proof of status required).
